Contour gauge, solar inverter, switch, and socket for DIY projects

In our tools and electrical category, you will find small but useful devices for work around the house. For tiling, the Willingood contour gauge and profile cutting template accurately copies the shape of door frames, pipes, or corners onto tiles or laminate flooring, so you don't have to guess when cutting. If you are building a solar system, it is worth planning in advance how many solar panels and what size battery you need, as the inverter power and switch voltage tolerance must be adjusted accordingly. The DC rotary switch allows you to safely disconnect the solar panels during maintenance.

What to watch out for

  • Switch: the load capacity (A or W) must be higher than that of the device.
  • Dimmer: only works with dimmable LED bulbs.
  • Inverter: the input voltage and power must match the solar panel and battery.
  • Contour gauge: the length should be at least as long as the shape to be copied.
  • Safety: leave the mains connection to an electrician.
