Stair gate, bed rail, baby blanket, and sleeping bag for the nursery

When your baby starts crawling, the home suddenly becomes full of dangerous places. The child safety gate can be installed with pressure mounting, without drilling, into the door frame or at the bottom of the stairs; the base gate fits openings of 77–82 cm and is made of durable metal. For wider openings, 10, 20, 30, and 45 cm metal gate extensions can be ordered, allowing the stair gate to be installed on wider stairways or larger doors. Check the gate regularly, as pressure mounting can loosen over time and children often try to shake it. If it becomes loose, you can retighten it by turning the adjusting screws. The Pakey bed rail can be installed on beds and is available in lengths of 160, 180, and 200 cm, preventing the child from rolling out of the big bed while sleeping. Replacement part kits for retractable safety gates and baby railings are also available in white and black, in case a mounting element is lost or broken. It is worth installing safety products before your baby starts crawling or pulling themselves up.

Things to keep in mind

  • Opening width: measure the distance between the walls where the gate will be placed.
  • Top of stairs: only use a gate there that is specifically approved by the manufacturer for this purpose.
  • Bed length: for bed rails, the length of the bed and the thickness of the mattress are important.
  • Bath water: water around 36–37 °C is recommended for bathing babies.
  • Feeding spoon: soft silicone head is gentle on teething gums.
